Hawker 800
Creating space
The Hawker 800 has a relatively small cabin. The main challenge
on this project was to keep the cabin open and where possible to
accentuate the sense of space.
We redesigned the passenger service unit (PSU)
panels to create the illusion of increased headspace. The PSU panels
were curved to match the lines of the fuselage and still accommodate
the equipment housed under the panels. We also covered them with
a light-colored washable fabric, because maintenance and durability
are key factors of our design philosophy.
We chose light-colored materials combined with
warm accent colors to open up the cabin. We worked hard to design
seats that retained the look and comfort of larger models despite
their smaller dimensions. |
