Good design gets to be repeated
This interior is inspired by a CL601 interior refurbishing that we designed and managed. The owner enjoyed the interior of his Challenger CL601 so much that a few years later, when he purchased a new Challenger CL604, he asked us to duplicate the interior design and manage the new completion.The original Challenger refurbishing included a new functional galley, including closed-out glassware and specific storage compartments aesthetically designed to improve food preparation requirements.

Highly figured “block mottle makore” wood veneer was selected and stained to highlight the figuring and create depth in the veneer. The seats were upholstered using soft textured calf-skin leather to enhance seat comfort. The carpet is custom-designed and features geometric lines created by lightly contrasting wool color. The light color used for the interior shell and upholstery creates a crisp contrast with the darker wood veneer, enhancing the cabin’s openness.

A detailed drawing and specification document was used as the base for the contractual agreement. We were able to fully realize the owner’s expectations and provide a duplicate of his original CL601 interior by diligently managing with the completion center every step of the completion process from purchase of the Challenger CL604 to final delivery.
